The Dayspring Anglican Church (a mission of the Anglican Church in America) is a continuing Anglican parish in Fillmore, California celebrating our faith in the low church tradition. We are scripturally based, liturgically traditional, and evangelical. The formularies of our Anglican Way include the Classic (1928) Book of Common Prayer and the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible. We ascribe to the 39 Articles of Religion as our statement of faith and the Affirmation of St Louis. As the Rev Peter Toon so succinctly put it, we are of:
One canon of Scripture in Two Testaments, with Three Creeds and Four Councils and Five centuries to provide holy tradition in and by which to read Scripture and to establish the polity and law of the Church.
The Lord's Supper will be served on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and on special holy days.
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion. Morning Prayer will be celebrated
on all other Sundays.
Fellowship time follows every service.
